Amsterdam Weekly

Starting out as the designer responsible for all advertisements, my weekly duties involved designing new ads from client specifications, processing client pre-made ads, categorising and filing existing and previous ads and having all files print ready to be placed in the paper each week. From there I also began laying out sections of the paper and, due to the size of the paper, organically kept one eye on any typos, spelling mistakes or ‘non native speaker’ English grammar issues. It was at this beautiful, free-spirited, left-of-centre weekly publication that I discovered my love of all things involving the paper and magazine production process. Long live the free press!
